Meet Miss Jen!
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola College in Maryland (now Loyola University) in 1995. She earned a Masters of Science in Speech from Emerson College in 1997. She is nationally certified with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and licensed in the state of Maryland by the Department of Health. Jennifer has worked in private and public schools in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Maryland as well as outpatient clinics and home health settings. Over the past twenty three years, she has worked with clients with a variety of speech-language disabilities including articulation, fluency and phonological disorders, as well as receptive and expressive language disorders. She has extensive experience working with children with Autism and Downs Syndrome. Jen has broad knowledge of Augmentative Communication, including high and low tech devices and is PROMPT and DTTC trained. Jen enjoys furthering her education and often takes continuing education courses on various treatment and assessment techniques. Jen enjoys spending free time with her husband, two teenage children and dog, Luna. Her hobbies include cooking, biking, hiking and visiting her favorite place, Bethany Beach.
